The site is the third-oldest residence in Brisbane. It is situated on the Brisbane River at Kangaroo Point and was built in stages from 1851 to the 1930s. Shafston House was designed by one of Brisbane’s “most sacred architects”, Robin Dods. Burgundy Group Property Development director Kevin Pan bought the riverside estate which was put on the market last year by multi millionaire Keith Lloyd who also put all of the contents from the estate, including his superyacht up for auction. The Shafston Estate is a 1ha block at 23 Castlebar St, Kangaroo Point, and was home of the Shafston International College for more than two decades.
