OGDENSBURG Ogdensburg City Council is ready to market the Diamond National Property.
On Monday, July 12, the city will hold a presentation discussing marketing plans for the property.
A document included in the council agenda offers details on the property, which officials hope will spur interest in the long defunct property.
“The Diamond Site is a remediated brownfield owned by the City of Ogdensburg that is available for redevelopment. The primary site feature is its expansive St. Lawrence River frontage that stretches approximately a quarter of a mile. Proximate to the southwestern gateway to the City of Ogdensburg and its waterfront downtown, the Diamond Site provides a great opportunity to connect to the City’s goal of developing as a destination in the North Country,” the document says.
