Last week, Sioux City Parks and Recreation staff began making snow at Cone Park in preparation for its 7th season. Last year, the park saw record attendance and record revenue.
Recreation Supervisor John Byrnes said the Parks and Recreation Department compared Cone Park s current admission rates with what other parks in the Midwest charge for snow tubing.
