A head-on collision between Makhanda and Gqeberha involving two minibus taxis last night claimed 10 lives. Department of Transport spokesperson Unathi Binqose said the accident occurred on the N2 between Makhanda and Nanaga. Binqose said a fully loaded taxi travelling towards Gqeberha collided with another taxi driving in the opposite direction with only two occupants, a man and a woman, Binqose said.
