(SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) Get your groove on during Blues in the Loft, a South Orange Performing Arts Center concert series curated and hosted by Mike Griot. On Sunday nights, hear world-class artists from the region in the cabaret-style setting of the SOPAC Loft. The 2022 Blues in the Loft series is dedicated to Lee Boswell-May, longtime curator of the program. Upcoming shows include performances by King Solomon Hicks and Alex Tea. Tickets are $20. All shows begin at 7:00pm.

They’re among the first to give voice and openly represent Jewish-American culture, traditions, values and spirituality in the world of American Roots music. Fronted by married couple Doni Zasloff (formerly of Mama Doni) and Eric Lindberg, Nefesh Mountain will perform a Hanukkah holiday concert on December 2 at 7:30pm at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel (432 Scotland Road, South Orange).

SOPAC Presents Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater On May 15th
(SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) presents progressive keyboard virtuoso Jordan Rudess in a solo concert that highlights his eclectic and electrifying artistry. On Saturday, May 15 at 8:00pm. Rudess takes the stage in a “hybrid” performance that includes a 100 in-person audience along with a live virtual experience.

Music Radar Magazine), virtuoso musician/composer Jordan Rudess is on a solo piano tour, FROM BACH TO ROCK. Rudess’ concert will travel through his fascinating musical journey – how a young Juilliard piano prodigy destined for a Classical music career evolved into a keyboard Rock star phenomenon. The concert will feature the music of Dream Theater and other Rock classics reimagined for the piano.
