San Francisco City attorney Dennis Herrera and it struck me that was an odd position given that as far as i could tell wasnt acting like a Legal Counsel so i had a couple of meetings with them and including mr. Herrera on tuesday and he agrees thats a position that is untenuous for his office. He has no problem being the Legal Counsel but he understands that he hasnt been acting as such at all, and has made it very clear to me that he doesnt its up to us, the board to choose our true Legal Counsel, and hes willing to be that no problem, but if he is hes going to act as such and be essentially primary. For example choosing all the other firms, the sub firms and directing them he would be responsible and i have talked to andrew sharltz at shoop and hail and he he is also. Hailey and he is perfectly willing to be the true counsel and understands that the scope of general counsel would include choosing and directing other firms to do the specialty work, so were going to have to make a deci

ux hi, im lawrence. We are doing a special series about staying safe. Lets look at issues of water and sewer. We are here at the San Francisco urban center on Mission Street in San Francisco and im joined today by marrielen from puc and talk about water and sewer issues. What are things we should be concerned about water. You want to be prepared for that scenario and the recommendation is to have stored 1 gallon per person per day that you are out of water. We recommend that you have at least 35 days for each person and also keep in consideration storage needs for your pets and think about the size of your pets and how much water they consume. The storage which is using tap water which you are going to encourage. Right. Of course at the puc we recommend that you store our wonderful delicious tap water. Its free. Ret row fits in buildings through the city and 129 Million Dollars in ada upgrades. As a former non profit director who is in charge of managing one of the city owned facilities that included issues with the elevator, issuewise the boiler system, issues with infrastructure it is exciting to see a significant investment. However i do have serious reservation about the praublgect in the plan, inthe new jail proposed as part of the hall of justice. A large portion of the population is there because they have a Mental Health issue or cant pay bill. I know it can be difficult to factor Mental Health into a intrastructure plan, but i think we need to be sure we are doing Everything Possible to reduce unnecessary incorns ration and provide Effective Services to those suffering from Mental Health problems. If we build a a92 jail, insure we are building not only the right size jail, but the right kind of jail. If that means the jail should also be a certified Mental Health facility than lets ma
