Police responded to reports of a theft in an Auto Parts Store. When officers arrived, the suspect took off running into the nearest neighborhood. Witnesses report that the man jumped fences and forced his way into two separate homes. A resident inside one of them saw the man with a knife in his hand and heard him say he had a gun though she didnt actually see one. Police have a perimeter set up in the neighborhood. And they are trying to take this man into custody. There is a pretty heavy Police Presence right now at the scene. And, again, we have residents evacuated from the homes as a precaution.
