I will say a few more words about them in a minute, but i want to really start by saying that we are gathering at a time where a lee are going through times of deep pain and anguish for so many americans. That has come to the floor in the last few, but it is a product of years in decades and centuries of equally and unfair treatment. Black people are not safe here go out for a jog or go to church or stay in their own home and too often at the hands of police right now the impact of two diseases one is medical professionals working around the clock and a global effort with a common enemy and still so many people are suffering and dying the other is a disease has never their country since birth and we have had decades in which we ignored the plight of black citizens. Those joining sar on the front lines attacking both of these diseases and challenges and they are truly leaning at a time where at the National Level we are fortunate to have these leaders to develop these options in all four of them have been working at the forefront to develop those systems to serve the entire community with the reform of the system so we really want to be

The governor unveiled his new 222 billion proposal stating that california is in great financial state. His budget includes 21 billion in reserves for any economic downturn and a 5. 6 billion surplus. The budget calls for 750 million of the surplus to be directed toward organized organizations that help homeless. Leslie brinkley sat down with the governor to ask him about affordability and the homelessness, both important topics for bay area residents. Certainly.
