Ryan chamberlains apartment and found explosive materials. Today, he was spotted at a bar and arrested. Nanette miranda has more. Reporter the arrest went down here in this parking lot. The officers were on duty and ended a nationwide manhunt. Turns out Ryan Chamberlain wasnt far from home. Cell phone video captures his arrest near the beach hut this evening just before 6 30. After a couple minutes recording it i realized it was something big, it was Homeland Security and fbi showed up. Reporter a Law Enforcement source says alert San Francisco Police Officers on a routine patrol of the area recognized the white car connected to chamberlain and approached him. The 42yearold did not resist arrest. He was taken to the federal building. Chamberlain prompted a nationwide manhunt after finding explosive material in his apartment on saturday.
