What about you, i would like to dwell on two aspects of these words in the context of our particular mission, to transmit the joy of the the gospel and to build up the church, whether as priests, deacons, or men and women members of the institutes of consecrated life. First, those words, what about you, were addressed to a young person, a young woman with high ideals and they changed her life. They made her think of the immense work that had to be done. And to realize that she was being called to do her part. How many young people in our parishes and schools have the same high ideals, generosity of spirit and love for christ and the church. I ask you do we challenge them . Do we make space for them and help them to do their part . Do we find ways of sharing their enthusiasm and gifts with our communities, above all, in works of mercy and concern for others. Do we share our own joy, and enthusiasm if serving the lord. All this under a ring of security unlike anything that even new york city has seen. Something hit the train ever happened at this point. Heres what we know. On friday the ntsb said assistant conductor on the train that derailed said she heard radio conversation between the engineer, and a septa engineer. They both said their train had been hit by objects just before crash she said. But on several National News shows this morning the ntsb said the septa engineer recalls no such conversation. And investigate verse listened to the dispatch tape and heard no communication from the amtrak engineer to the dispatch center to say that something struck the train. But, the nssb says a mark on the windshield does point to something hitting it. And the fbi is going to examine it tomorrow to try to figure out what happened here.
