Ukraine is ready to open a new page in relations with the Republic of Moldova.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated following a meeting with Moldovan President-elect Maia Sandu, Ukrinform reports referring to the Foreign Ministry s press service. Ukraine welcomes the successful holding of free and democratic presidential elections in Moldova, which have clearly confirmed the European choice of the Moldovan people. We are ready to open a qualitatively new page in Ukrainian-Moldovan relations,” said Kuleba.
He congratulated Maia Sandu on her convincing victory in the election and, on behalf of President Volodymyr Zelensky, extended an invitation to visit Ukraine.
