The fire commissioner told us when the firefighters arrived after 3 30 this twostory home was thoroughly engulfed, completely in flames. He said that relatives were here on the scene telling him that six people at one point were inside and at one point it appeared everyone had gotten out. But then they realized one of the children was missing so the mother went back inside to look for her son and she was found near the doorway of the second floor bedroom, holding her child. We can also tell you that the commissioner tells us that there were about five portable heaters inside this home and he said it is possible that the heaters ignited something flammable surrounding them and that is what caused the blaze.
