Drew tuma here with the swaewea yeah weve been battling the winds last couple days and in santa cruz winds from 3 to 9 miles through the next 24 hour s. To the north bay several fires are still burning at this hour. Still have gusty winds around clear lake. Else where are relatively calm between 5 and 9 miles. Weve also been benefiting from cleaner air over the past 12 to 18 hours with an on shore breeze mixing up smokes in the at the mo atmosphere. We still have particles in the air from the north bay fires. We will see changes in the form of wet weather. North to seattle and portland you see the showers. Off shore will have a cold front mo moving through bringing us light system tomorrow night. Best chance of showers between 8 00 and midnight between light to moderate rain. We are looking outside right now and i have to say everyone is loving this because it helps their commute earlier this week with all that rain, and today is looking g even construction crews are out there like this.
