Pakistan s private carrier Serene Air has launched its service between Dubai and Lahore.
Operating three flight per week, Serene Air s inaugural flight from Lahore to Dubai arrived at Dubai International Airport on May 6.

Passengers may pay more as Pakistan cuts flights by 80%
Passengers travelling to Pakistan are expected to pay more airfare as the airlines will reduce their flight operations from May 5 onwards in line with the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) directive to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Airline sources said airfare may surge up to 50 per cent ahead of Eid as limited seats will be available due to significant reduction in Pakistan bound flights during May 5 to 20. International flights to Pakistan will be reduced to 20 per cent during this period, it added.

NCOC proposes to reduce international flights by 80% from May 5 to May 20
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority will hold an important meeting this week to discuss the National Command and Operation Centre s proposal to reduce the international flights by 80 per cent from May 5 to May 20 due to a surge in coronavirus cases.
The civil aviation regulator will convene the meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday to discuss the international flight operations and categories A, B and C with reference to third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The civil aviation secretary is likely to chair the meeting and to be attended by CAA officials and representatives of domestic and international airlines.
