A Port Angeles woman charged with stealing a Clallam Transit bus and driving it nearly to Shelton will be in Clallam County Superior Court again on May 17 as her defense attorney works to get her into mental health court.
The Clallam County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged a Port Angeles woman with stealing a Clallam Transit System bus in Sequim on Dec. 27 and then driving it south on U.S. Highway 101 until it was stopped in Mason County.
A Port Angeles woman is facing felony charges in one — and possibly two — counties of allegedly hopping behind the wheel of a Clallam Transit bus on Dec. 27 and driving it almost all the way to Shelton.
