Khirki Masjid, positioned on the southern periphery of Khirki village, has long suffered from neglect, leading to the dilapidation of certain areas and the collapse of some domes. Historians believe that this mosque is one of the seven magnificent mosques constructed by Khan-i-Jahan Junan Shah, the prime minister of Firuz Shah Tughluq, who ruled Delhi from 1351 to 1388.
The CBI has booked four ASI officials for allegedly granting NOCs to Riddhi Siddhi Enterprises for constructions in the regulated/prohibited areas of Kuki Biwiki Masjid and Muqbara (tomb) in Ahmedabad, which have been classified as national monuments.
