These cool days, john. Yeah, the cool. And then the heat august is bring in quite the extremes in just the first week. The next 3 days today, tomorrow and thursday being on the cooler side of things. And youll notice that difference today. First of all, its a little cloudier out there, not just for the coastline, either, but youre seeing those partly cloudy skies a little further inland. What we are seeing is a little break from that summer heat as we kick off august today. First day of the month and the first 3 days of this new month or going to stay cool. Chp says the Oakland Fire Department saw a man starting the fire in the westbound lane of the 17th street offramp. Firefighters later found a burn victim with head trauma at the offramp. That offramp is now reopened. All lanes are open as well. Meanwhile, in San Francisco, fire crews have contained a massive fire in the citys hayes valley neighborhood. 8 people have been displaced.
