During the last hearing, the High Court suggested KIIFB officials and Issac who were summoned by the ED to appear before it on courts watch. Today, even though KIIFB agreed to appear, Issac refused.
Even if the judgment of a division bench stayed, it is advisable that another coordinate bench does not take a contrary view, but awaits the decision of the Supreme Court.
"I would like to suggest, if you want you can cooperate with the summons once. This is just a suggestion. I will ensure there is no arrest, no intimidation," single-judge Justice Devan Ramachandran said.
