The South Seminole Baptist Church received an award for completing its fifth year of being a drop-off center for the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child project recently. Since the church has participated in packing shoeboxes for the project for children in need all around the world for over 20 years, it decided to take the next step and become a drop-off center.
The Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child project is set in motion for this year and South Seminole Baptist Church will continue to pack shoeboxes, as well as, serve another year as a drop-off center. The mission and goal of the project is to spread the “Good News of Jesus Christ,” while providing children worldwide with shoeboxes filled with small gifts.
