Nearly four months ago (on Nov. 18), Roi Biton let his dogs, Golani and Rona, out to play on a vacant commercial property he was looking to buy near Jones Maltsberger and U.S. Highway 281. While playing, the dogs found a critter and chased it, but Golani ran after it farther than he was supposed to. Golani, whose fifth birthday is today, ended up running across a canal and into the parking lot nearby at Security Service Bank. Biton said he couldn t cross the canal, so he got into his truck and drove to the parking lot. Three minutes later, Biton couldn t find his certified emotionally support Bull Terrier anywhere. He has had Golani since he was an 8-week-old pup.
