Alappuzha: Eight people have been arrested in connection with the alleged killing of a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker in Kerala s Alappuzha. The eight, reportedly workers of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) were held even as the BJP observed a day-long hartal in the district to condemn the alleged killing of the RSS worker. Section 144 has been imposed in two taluks - Cherthala and Ambalappuzha - after violence was reported in parts of the district on Thursday.
