The celebration was organised under the aegis of Ura Academy, Tenyidie Keruvuo Krodo. Mhalezolie Kire, editor of Capi Daily, while speaking on the occasion, informed that till now, Capi is the only Tenyidie vernacular daily being published in the state. Recalling the journey of Capi over the years, he recounted how Vikesel Neikha (publisher) and R Solhou (editor), jointly started the publication in 1988, from where the Angami vernacular paper was issued on weekly, biweekly and tri-weekly. It was informed that after some time, Vilasielie Nakhro, became the editor before the vernacular newspaper closed down for some few months. However, Kire informed that from 1997 onwards, the edition began to be published on a daily basis “which is the reason why they were celebrating the silver jubilee anniversary of the paper.” The

In a message, chairman of Sovima village council, Sebastian Zumvü, has expressed happiness on the overwhelming response of the residents for the blood donation camp. “We must remember that we, fortunate and healthy ones, have enough blood to donate to those acutely in need. Our donation can mean life or death for some people who are in dire need. Our Reporter Dimapur, June 14 (EMN): Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio informed that the state government will provide loans without interest to micro-farmers and entrepreneurs, by selecting and interviewing interested persons from all the districts. He was speaking during the inauguration programme of the Department of Development for Under-Developed Areas (DUDA) Guest House at Sovima on Tuesday. He said that the government will pay the interest and the beneficiaries will get a loan but the person has to provide a guarantor from the village authority. Rio also stated that the eastern region is now different and one should not have the mentality of reservation and backwardness.
