reporter: minutes later, an indiana troor llth again for tailgating. both stops ending with only a warning. tonight, the suspect in the murder of those four college students is now on his way to idaho. his return paving wa describinthevidenceainst him. i definitely believe that one of the main reasons the defendant chose to waive extradition and hurry his return back to idaho was the need to know what was in those documents. reporter: police have not said whether they believe kohberger knew the victims, but we re learning more about his movements near the university of idaho in the months leading up to the murders. law enforcement in pullman and moscow had no prior history with this guy? i think we had a traffic stop with him at one point, i think we gave a seat belt ticket. reporter: in the white elantra? yes. reporter: that traffic stop in moscow august 3rd. this is really something.
