TOMS RIVER A new 68,000-square-foot outpatient clinic for veterans will be built on land located off Hooper Avenue near the Seacourt Pavilion, Mayor Maurice B. Mo Hill Jr. said Tuesday.
The Department of Veterans Affairs selected the Toms River site as the location of the new clinic, approving a submission made by FD Stonewater, an Arlington, Virginia- based firm that is the township s designated redeveloper for the clinic site.
The clinic will be located on property between the Seacourt Pavilion shopping center and the Esplanade Office Park off Hooper Avenue and near Caudina Avenue. It will have 480 parking spaces, according to the VA s award notice for the clinic.
Something new is coming to Toms River - what is it?
Jersey Shore Online gave the heads up that the construction being done by the Seacourt Pavilion will be an apartment complex. Take a look at what was approved, according to the article:
Approved were 128 residential units, a pool, a dog park and a tot lot. Of these, there would be 46 one-bedroom units, 76 two-bedroom, and six three-bedroom. The three-bedroom units would be made for people with lower incomes, since every town in New Jersey is required to set aside some homes in this manner.
Jersey Shore Online also notes that there is no word when the project will be completed as of yet.
