Investigation on a workplace shooting that left three dead including the gunman. The violence broke out last night before closing time at the ford store in morgan hill. Police say the gunman had just been fired from that dealership and then returned a short time later with a gun. We have Team Coverage. Reporter an employee at the parts counter, 60yearold steven leet opened fire inside the ford store in morgan hill killing two managers and then himself. They say leet just received word that hed been fired. Authorities say he spent about 20 minutes in his car before grabbing two guns and returning inside. They say he went into his Managers Office where he shot xaviersouto point blank. Then isor, intervened trying to wrestle the gun away from leet, but he was overpowered and mes. Spontaneous action on behalf of the suspect which unfortunately resulted in the loss of two men and the loss of two fathers of the families. Douglas reporter Authorities Say r going inside vicki went to his Managers Office where he shot xavier souto at point blank. It was then that another employee, brian light tried to wrestle the gun from him. Brians actions were nothing short of heroic and allowed people to flee after hearing the first shot. Reporter police eventually went into the parking lot were police say he sat down on a curb and shot himself. Release arrived in time to hear the final gunshot. They spent all night processing the scene, steven leets house and a gun. Originally they thought the shooting may have been premeditated but they no longer do. We are to the point now where we think he may have carried weapons with him all of the time.
