john: the republican senate in pennsylvania too close to call. oz and mccormick separated by a few thousand votes. it could eventually decide the balance of power in washington. john roberts good to see you here today. gillian: great to be with you, back from coverage the johnny depp trial in fairfax. secretary of state of pennsylvania is saying it s going to be a few days before the republican primary can be called. that race will be sent to a recount if the margin remains within half a percent. john: tv doctor, trump s endorsement, skyrocketing in the last couple of the weeks. but mccormick says he s the best chance to win in november and they are confident he will be the nominee. gillian: we have guy benson to break it down, but first bryan llenas joins us from new hope, pennsylvania. how are both campaigns feeling this hour about where they stand? hey, gillian, the bottom line, two words we keep hearing. optimistic and confident. those are the two words we are h
well, i haven t seen it either. they haven t given me the subpoena, which is amazing because the press has had information and knowledge of this for 24 hours now. i still have yet to see the subpoena, it has not been given to me. i did write a letter in january when they asked me to come voluntarily. i said there are all kinds of concerns i have with this committee. if they do not comply, the committee could recommend contempt charges as they have done in the past but so far no one on the committee has yet suggested they will go that route. it is fraught. and house republicans have threatened to launch their own control into democrats should they gain control of the house next year. we don t know who in the senate the committee is interested in hearing from. joining me is capitol hill correspondent ali vitale. any news on the next steps? reporter: that s where it goes next, especially if and when these lawmakers say they re not going to comply with these requests. there

The head of security for the US Supreme Court said on Friday the service had no reason to suspect any of the Supreme Court Justices were behind the May 2022 leaking of a draft majority opinion to the press.
