Pharmacy technician at Kerrville VA Medical Center charged after stealing drugs from mail, feds say The man also stole prescriptions from about 40 residential mailboxes Tags:  SAN ANTONIO – A former pharmacy technician at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Kerrville has been arrested after federal authorities say he stole hydrocodone and oxycodone prescriptions. Kerrville resident Scott M. Brown, 35, was charged with one count of theft of U.S. Mail, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announcedThursday. He faces up to five years in federal prison. According to federal authorities, Brown stole the drugs from the mailroom of the VAMC, where he worked.

Photo courtesy of City of Hope Orange County Observant Orange County residents might notice a few additions to our county lately: street art focusing on hope at more than 10 places, including The Great Park, three vaccine super sites, John Wayne Airport, and other iconic locations. More than 70 artists, including at least 50 students from the Orange County School of Arts, were commissioned to put forth their ideas about resilience and optimism for the community. The project, “Hope Lives in O.C.,” is a partnership between City of Hope Orange County, the Orange County Health Care Agency, and other businesses and groups.
