father s day on the beach comes with a warning when the u.s. coast guard spots a shark off the marin coast today. the national park service immediately ordered swimmers out of the water. it was spotted a mile north of stinson beach at sea drift beach about 200 to 300 yards offshore. as lilian kim reports, beachgoers are only allowed to go knee deep in the water at least for the next several days. lifeguards went up and down stinson beach on the lookout for a shark. the great white was spotted before 2:00 p.m., and that s when lifeguards told everyone to get out of the water. it was pretty dramatic. the beach was completely empty of the water in like five minutes. the coast guard spotted the eight to 10 foot shark and an off duty lifeguard fishing at the time cop officialed the citing. they are now imposing restrictions on anyone who goes in the water. we hillary strict the water to we will restrict swimming to knee deep and right now we are set to close through thur
