BRUNSWICK, Ga. – Georgia teachers and other school and child care employees gained access to the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, per the latest executive order from Gov. Brian Kemp.
Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and parents of children with complex medical conditions are now also able to get the COVID-19 vaccine in Georgia under new guidelines issued last week.
“We’re really excited. We were kind of hoping to get the news a little sooner,” Glynn Academy Principal Matthew Blackstone said.

CLEVELAND, Ohio Had it not been for the pandemic, theatergoers in Northeast Ohio might be talking about that performance of “The Cher Show” they just saw at Playhouse Square, or making plans to see the Great Lakes Theater’s production of “Agatha Christie’s Black Coffee” at the Hanna this weekend.
Instead, theatres across the region remain dark for the 49th consecutive week. But there is light at the end of the tunnel.

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio Local high school sophomores, parents and prospective adult education students are invited to take an in-person guided tour of Polaris Career Center during Tuesday Tours.
These one-on-one tour opportunities give prospective students and parents an opportunity to explore Polaris’ newly renovated Middleburg Heights campus and get specific high school and adult education enrollment questions answered.
