Sixweek winning streak. We have the market down about 64 points on the Dow Jones Industrials average. We had a weaker than expected auction yesterday. The fixed income market found weaker demand for the three auctions totaling 72 billion, 3s, 10s, 30s. But it doesnt seem to have had a Significant Impact on the current structure. You know, we are slightly lower in yields, higher in price than we were yesterday, and the same could be true from a weekly per expectedive. I think the big story continues to be that the range is extended on Interest Rates and the curve is steeper, but it really hasnt gotten out of hand the last several weeks. So i want to do everything i can to deliver for them. How about democrats . The fact that they kept you out of the battleground states . Listen, as i think some of you saw when i was out on the campaign trail. I love campaigning. I love talking to ordinary people. I love listening to their stories. I love shaking hands and getting hugs and just seeing the process of democracy and citizenship manifest itself during an election, but im also a practical guy, and ultimately every candidate out there had to make their own decisions about what they thought would be most helpful for them, and you know, i wanted to make sure that im respectful of their particular region, their particular state or Congressional District and if it was more helpful for them for me to be behind the scenes im happy to do it

And my advice, as i said, to the president elect when we had our discussions was that campaigning is different from governing. I think he recognizes that. I think hes sincere in wanting to be a successful president and moving this country forward, and i dont think any president ever comes in saying to himself, i want to figure out how to me people angry or alienate half the country. I think hes going to try as best he can to make sure that he delivers, not only for the people who voted for him, but for the people at large. And the good thing is there are going to be elections coming up, so there is a builtin incentive to try and do that. But its only been six days. And i think it will be important for him to have the room, to staff up, to figure out what his priorities are, to be able to distinguish between what he was campaigning on and what is practical, what he can actually achieve. There are certain things that make for good sound bites but dont always translate into good policy. A
