Unlike our colleagues and some other news organizations, we wont ignore the issue, but well discuss it later in the show. The biggest differences were around policy, the economy, health, energy and other areas. Joe biden got off to a start by warning of a dark winter of covid ahead while President Trump insisted that the primary responsibility is to get the economy moving again. Were opening up our country. Weve learned and studied and understand the disease. Were learning to live with it. We have no choice. He says that were, you know, were learning to live with it. People are learning to die with it. Gerry in many ways, this frames the election. President trump is eager to get the country back to work, end the lockdowns and manage the risk from covid.
