Hospital workers get CNY’s first Covid-19 vaccinations: A housekeeper at Upstate University Hospital on Tuesday became the first person in Central New York to receive an injection of the new Covid-19 vaccine, raising hopes that the end of the deadly pandemic is in sight. Starting today, Upstate plans to vaccinate as many as 600 workers a day. (Video: Watch the vaccinations).
Scorey Ayee, a Syracuse rapper who hit it big this year, buys ‘a ton’ of toys for Salvation Army

Syracuse, N.Y. A Syracuse rapper who got his first brush with success this year paid it forward by buying up “a ton” of gifts for the local Salvation Army, the organization said yesterday.
Scorey Ayee, whose real name is Corey Ward, is a Syracuse-born-and-raised rapper who signed earlier this year with ODA records, according to Respect magazine. The record company is a startup by Polo G, an artist whose album in May debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
