The latest biopic movie SCOOP, which portrays behind the scenes the BBC Newsnight interview between Emily Maitlis and Prince Andrew is going to be released on Netflix in April 2024. SCOOP is going to be produced by Radford Neville and Hilary Salmon for The Lighthouse Film & Television with Voltage TV s Sanjay Singhal from Trouble at Topshop.
The six-episode series, featuring Karishma Tanna and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, is a sobering portrayal of journalists who lust for exclusives and explosives.
Karishma Tanna traces her journey from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi to Scoop and says it's the biggest show of her career, that she got after a series of backbreaking, heart-crushing rejections.
Produced by Matchbox Shots, season one of the series is inspired by real events and Jigna Vora s book, Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison , serving as the show s maiden installment.
