Gaming PC maker Razer plunged into the protective mask world during COVID with the Razer Zephyr, a light-up wearable air purifier with what it says are "N95-grade filters."
The Razer Zephyr mask has now backtracked on its claims of being an N95 mask. The Razer Zephyr mask, which was initially marketed to use "N95-grade" filters, has now backtracked on that claim due to widespread criticism.
Razer recently changed its description of the filters included with its Zephyr and upcoming Zephyr Pro masks. Previously, Razer claimed they offered "N95-grade" protection, but now they’re called "air purification filters."
