Good evening. Im kate baldwin in for erin burnett. A gunman opens fire in a nashville Movie Theater. The shooters face was covered by a surgical mask. Listen to the tape were just getting in of the gunshots. You hear multiple rounds there. Police shot and killed the gunman but not before three people were injured. One man was cut, apparently, by the gunmans hatchet. Police described how the shooting went down. The gunman, the suspect raised his weapon toward that officer, pulled the trigger. That officer then fired on the suspect and then backed away from the theater. The shooter also had a backpack and a satchel. A bomb squad was called in to investigate those.
