Sophomore Tamsin Weissberg was named the NH Association of School Principals Francis Wayland Parker Scholar of the Month for the state of New Hampshire. Tamsin is highly accomplished in the classroom and the community. She is involved in Central s Key Club, Varsity Tennis, Indoor Track, The Little Green Newspaper. In addition to her extensive extra-curricular schedule, Tamsin is ranked first in her class and boasts a 4.0 GPA. The Francis Wayland Park Scholar of the Month Program is an academic recognition award developed to promote academic recognition of students. A panel of seven judges chosen from prominent citizens and business leaders in the state make the selection of the Scholar of the Month. In May, all monthly winners and their families will be honored at an awards ceremony. At that time, the Francis Wayland Parker

Senior Carl Harris was named the NH Association of School Principals Francis Wayland Parker Scholar of the Month for the state of New Hampshire in January. Carl is highly accomplished in the classroom, the community, and in athletics. Carl is co-captain of the varsity cross-country, winter and spring track teams, a member of the National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, Rho Kappa, and National English Honor Society, News Editor of The Little Green, and an active member of Amnesty International. Outside of Central, Carl volunteers for Inti Academy where he developed a STEM program for the children served by Inti. In addition to his extensive extra-curricular schedule, Carl is the Class of 2017 Salutatorian. To read about Carl s accomplishments, click here for the article in the Union Leader. Junior Gabriella Leonard was named the NH Association of School Principals Francis Wayland Parker Scholar of the Month for the state of New Hampshire in February. Gabby has found great success in the classroom, in athletics, and in the community. Gabby has lettered in field hockey, ice hockey, Nordic skiing, and lacrosse and she also serves as captain of the varsity lacrosse team. Outside of athletics, Gabby is involved in the communities of Central and greater Manchester. She is the President-elect of Life of an Athlete, an active Key Club member, a member of Tri-M Music Honor Society, a writer for The Little Green Newspaper, and has served as Treasurer of the Band. Gabby values community service and has participated in a variety of activities from organizing a bicycle drive for elementary school students, to raking leaves for elderly residents, to volunteering with the Special Olympics.
