This fire burned more than 2,000 acres in Elbert County just north of limon. While you were sleeping, crews did get the basin fire under control. It was hot and dry yesterday, highs well into the 80s with gustier conditions. They had cooler weather overnight, so its good they right now in denver, some clear skies.
