And fire crews responding to a three alarm fire. You could see the smoke there billowing up into the air from our sfo camera. This fire is on star lite street near north canal street. No word on which building is burning here, but we know this is an Industrial Area about a block or so away from the South San Francisco fire station. This fire was reported just before 3 00 this afternoon. As of 3 30 or so, it did look as the crews on the scene were getting a pretty good handle on this fire. Of course some very challenging conditions out there for fire crews across the bay area. Lets check in with Rosemary Orozco on the weather were seeing. (Screenshot) SAN FRANCISCO (CN) The San Francisco school board on Tuesday rescinded its prior vote to rename 44 public schools as it faces litigation claiming it used a flawed and unfair process to push through the changes. In a 6-0 vote, the board approved a resolution undoing its Jan. 26 decision to redub schools named after George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and others perceived to have played a role in slavery, genocide, colonial conquest and other forms of oppression.
