Reporter a fire captain did tell us he has never seen an accident like this where you have four cars involved in the same accident and all catch fire and become fully engulfed. The remains are out here south of highway 85 on the 101. One driver was not able to get out of their vehicle and died in the crash. This happened around 3 30 this morning and its not clear what caused this crash and we know its a chain collision involving four sedans involving one person in each car, and one driver died, and two others went to the hospital, and then the fourth driver walked away, he was on his regular commute from Silicon Valley and going about 70 miles per hour, and he swerved to avoid a plastic wheel fender in the road and ended up colliding with one of the cars.
