A bench led by Justice Joymalya Bagchi asked the CBI and ED to learn from countries like Japan and Singapore, where conviction rates in corruption cases are more than 80 per cent.

Justice Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya also held that the investigating agencies like the Enforcement Directorate must avoid flaunting the results of their probe and must speak only through their chargesheets.
