He was supposed to get the charges dropped today, but have to wait one more day. 25yearold Austin Vincent was in court for all of 90 seconds today. He faced a different judge than the one handling the case so far which meant the case is held until tomorrow and held remain in jail. This is an example of how public hysteria can impact the accused of how fear and ignorance can victimize the mentally ill. Reporter his Attorney Says his client has been in jail for nine days for a crime he did not commit. Three people misidentified him as the person who attacked a woman with a knife in february. The Public Defenders Office proved vincent was not the suspect because he was in Southern California at the time, forcing the District Attorneys Office to drop the charges. Here is a look at how much cooler we are, areas over napa, san jose, concord, and livermore, 5 to 7 degrees. So a noticeable one, and in the afternoon, a reversal. And across the bay, patchy fog reported over the north bay. You can see visibility is pretty good for the central and south bay locations. Then i would have seen them put her in a taxi and send her to a shelter. Just on the other side. Go ahead and sit down. Baraka says the womans mother found her in that shelter. She she needs. Shes with family. Shes being taken care of. The hospitals ceo insists this is not how it usually treats troubled patients. So im assuming that you all went through the security department.
