We we had a shaved ice today special things for the kids. Not only is that a new experience seeing his daughter start school, but it will be their first year in the Oakland Unified School district. It has been daunting, but there has been a lot of communication. Last sc oakland teachers going on strike. The union and the district were able to reach an agreement but students were out of the classroom for nearly two weeks. Gonzalez is hoping this year runs without interruption. Informed so we are not so rise and the kids are not so rise. And schools holdings. When you interrupt instruction and the pace of scheduling in the instruction in the interaction, kids struggle, teacher struggle. To plan to maximize instructional days to make up for lost time. This is about getting people back into the grind, if you w , the cycle of learning and growing. Parents are hopeful this year can be one that supports their children.
