A minivan careens down a sidewalk in the castro forcing terrified pedestrians to scramble out of the way. Tonight San Francisco police trying to find out why and how it happened. Good evening. Douglas high school this afternoon. Students say they heard multiple gunshots. They rushed to hide in classrooms and they tried to reach their parents through their cell phones but some of them were scared to talk out of fear that their voices would attract the shooter. One student says he heard the gunman pull that fire alarm and yell for everyone to come out of the rooms in an attempt to fill the halls with people. When that school went on lockdown, s. W. A. T. Team rushed in. Students flooded out consoling each other on the street. It was multiple gunshots, five at a time, fully automatic, very frightening. We thought it was a drill. But apparently it was a active shooter. The hallway saw big pile of blood smeared like as if they were dragged away and i saw two girls probably dead in the hallway. A good thing the door is locked. The shooter shot through the door. I was behind the cabinet and the bullet passed my ear, got a girl next to me. We couldnt help anybody. 911 wasnt working
