Valley itself and pushing on over into the bay area. More and more neighbors to the east have also seen that smoke pushing their direction as it diffuses across the west coast in general. Now we are looking at a system that is pushing in from the west. Thats going to result in an increase in on shore flow today, introducing at least some newer heir to the bay area that isnt laden with wildfire smoke. So we are going to be seeing improvements in that way, but its not enough to stir out our existing hazy air. So in addition to the fog and the haze that we currently have we do have a little bit of improvements but not enough to make it a clean sweep across the area today nor really tomorrow much of the rest of the week too so were in this haze and the smoke for a while as we settled in it for a few days now already you can see that we do have some light winds pushing in from the pacific this morning, definitely breezy us up towards the vacaville and fairfield just enough to be keeping a l
To mix in with existing hayes as theres still not enough lift to be pushing out the bad air thats already with us. So we are seeing the start of some improvements that will gradually continue for the rest of the week ahead of us 50s and 60s for your current temperatures with hayward at 61 right now oakland right there too concord in berkeley at 57 degrees each daytime highs later today will be just a touch warmer than they were this weekend with their quality just a touch better so those are some nice things to be talking about as far as traffic goes, im hoping robin is got a side starting off the workweek as some nice things as well has it on the roads, hey there john well it just depends on where folks are heading this morning. I do have a hot spot. Thats impacting that commute throughout the east bay between fremont. And soon all this is a major crash from overnight it happened in the 11 oclock hour yesterday. A driver spun out and crashed into a pole on niles canyon which is 84. It
Know because we would love it if it just cleared right out today it will be a slow go as far as clearing goes these next few days she can see air quality is very poor out there still much like it has been the past few days. Not as bad though as it was friday and saturday also not the prettiest of shots out of sfo this morning very foggy. Very hazy. Its a mix of both that is pushed in right along the shoreline that is making conditions so pour yet again across the region. Now the most of smoke from the Sierra Nevada fires that were still continuing to see burning is pumped up right there on the western sierra were here in the bay area where you can see that there is some marine layer that is pushed in unfortunately with that marine layer, there is smoke embedded in that as well so her getting it from all sides when you have so many fires burning across the region it takes more than just a shift in wind direction to be seeing conditions clearing out. Now there is an onshore wind this mor
