We still have challenges with the asbestos thats part of the excavation and were dealing with that with specialists on board and as we get to the build up part definitely reduces our expose our expose ure to risk. What im thinking about will these specialists be necessary in the future . Only asneeded especially especially as it relates to the soil specialists we feel fairly strongly we dont need them as much and as long as we have the asbestos turning into a fly away situation and we are running into a lot of arc logical items of interest so we definitely probably through even some of the build up well keep the the archeologyist on board. So we are as the city left with a mess were trying to clean up i want to begin i dont think we fully know the extent to which shortterm rentals are impacting the Housing Market i support shortterm rentals they have a place in San Francisco but we have yet to fully understand the thousands of unit that are in the shortterm rental market that could be available to san franciscans that are looking for housing i have requested that the budget and budget analyst consultation a full review of the impact of the shortterm rentals on the Housing Market and ask and hope that the hosting platforms coordinate with the city to provide the budget analyst the data needed to fully mind what is happening out there and in terms of enforcement i know there is an Important Role for the hosting platforms to play weve heard from the Planning Department about the kinds of things they can do and hopefully, theyll volunteer and volunteering work with the city to the extent they fail to do that we have a respon
