According to the official, tenders have been floated for the upgradation of nine depots, of which DTC depots at Kalkaji, Rohini-I, Rohini-II, BBM, Sukhdev Vihar, Subah Place are being redeveloped for electric buses.
The project is part of the Delhi government's plan to construct nine new bus depots across the city to house the continuously increased number of buses.
