Congress president, Mallikarjun Kharge, has questioned how long it will take for expelled Lok Sabha member Rahul Gandhi to be reinstated following his Supreme Court appeal victory for a 2019 defamation case. The court overturned his conviction in a case relating to remarks made regarding the Modi surname.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday said while just 24 hours were taken to disqualify Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha after his conviction in a defamation case, it is to be seen how long will it take to reinstate him after the Supreme Court relief.
