The Supreme Court has appointed former Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Maninder Singh and advocate Rajesh Batra as special public prosecutors (SPP) in the coal scam cases registered by the Enforcement Directorate.
Maninder Singh and Rajesh Batra will replace RS Cheema as SPPs in these cases.
The Centre had suggested their names after RS Cheema expressed his desire to be relieved from the post of SPP.
