the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) held the first meeting with the new managing committee. The recently-held election for the three
Stewards and two Committee members post saw some new entrants gain entry into the
BTC board room. Vinod Sivappa (in pic) was once again elected chairman and Senior Steward of the club.
The two new faces, elected Stewards are Satish Gowda and
Naval Narielwala. “It is a
solid team, and the chairman is only as good as the team,” Vinod said. Dr L Srinivas Reddy topped the committee member’s election, while DK Ashwin edged out Anish Sood by only three votes to make the grade.
