SARUPATHAR: The Dhansiri subdivision administration is all set to conduct smooth vote counting for the Assam Assembly election on May 2 while adhering to COVID-19 protocol.
The counting of votes in 94- Sarupathar Constituency of Dhansiri election district will be held in the counting room of Sarupathar College on 14 EVM counting tables and three postal ballot tables in 25 rounds of counting.

Arrangements have been made in Golaghat district for the 8,196 voters who are above 80 years so that they can cast their votes by postal ballots.

GOLAGHAT: All arrangements have been made in Golaghat district for the 8,196 voters who are above 80 years so that they can cast their votes by postal ballots during the forthcoming Assembly polls. Such ballots will be collected from their homes as and when required.
Of the 8,196 voters above the age of 80 years included in the electoral roll so far in the four Assembly constituencies of the district, as many as 7,082 voters are between the ages of 80 and 89 years; 1,028 voters between the ages of 90 and 99 years; and 86 voters above the age of 100.
